Paid.care provides payment, professional training, coaching, emotional, and financial support for families caring for loved one.

Eligibility rules vary by program, and our care team can check yours for free. Here's how eligibility works for Indiana's Age & Disabled Waiver:

Clinical Eligibility:

To determine if you require home care, it's essential to assess your specific needs. While the technical aspects of clinical eligibility can be intricate, we strongly advise you to self-assess your need for home care before proceeding with an application.

Financial Eligibility:

Financial eligibility typically varies by state, but the person you care for will need to be on Medicaid.

In Illinois, they do not need Medicaid if they have under $17,500 in qualified assets. A house and a car do not count against that limit.

If you have Medicaid, training and support is covered by Paid.care and is at no cost to you or your loved one. Medicaid Waiver Programs cover the cost of Paid.care training and support for their members. Our program allows families to live a healthy and happy life in their own homes.

In Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois, anyone with Medicaid or eligible for a Medicaid Waiver (that could be you) is eligible to get paid.

Family caregivers with Paid.care can earn up to $800 a week, depending on the state and the program.

The weekly amount follows the care your loved one needs and which program they qualify for in Indiana, Michigan, or Illinois. We pay every week, and a care coach can walk you through the rate for your county and program before you enroll.

Our care team eases insurance frustrations by assisting with Medicaid, Medicare Transitions, and Medicaid Waiver applications while ensuring you receive maximum benefits.

Through the Paid Care App we've simplified communication, allowing easy note-sharing with care experts. Compatible with smartphones, tablets, and computers.

Paid.care serves families across all of Indiana and all of Michigan. In Illinois we serve three counties: Cook County, Will County, and Kane County.

Paid.care is an active provider for Structured Family Care, Attendant Care, and Homemaking Services for family caregivers in Indiana. Home Health Aide services are coming in 2026.

Our inclusive program combines virtual and in-person training — giving you confidence to care for your adult or child family member at home.

If CPR is needed, our care coaches are all CPR certified. They will help you complete the in-person demonstration in the comfort of your own home.

You'll keep track of your caregiving duties in the Paid Care app and get paid weekly via direct deposit.
